Our clients include founders as well as company owners and venture capital funds as well as corporates. Our clients’ businesses range in maturity from first product sales to double-digit million in revenues with a strong position in their respective market segment.

Associate
Investment Banking / Mergers & Acquisitions
Key responsibilities include:
Deal Execution
- Execute transactions together with the team
- Create effective client presentation and marketing materials incl. management presentations, written proposals and other transaction documents
- Identify and approach investors and prospective buyers
- Participate in due diligence processes
Financial Modelling and Research
- Build / review highly complex financial models for business projections and valuation analysis
- Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
General
- Take responsibility for selected project work streams on live transactions as agreed with the project team
- Develop and maintain client relationships on working level
- Support the team in day-to-day business and transaction execution as required
- Provide input regarding optimization of work flows and processes
- Take part in junior development and recruiting
- Develop awareness of key client opportunities

Prerequisites
Genuine curiosity about the Investment Banking world is the starting point. We’re looking for
a flexible, detail-oriented and enthusiastic colleague who can thrive under pressure. You are
passionate, persistent and bring the ability to adapt.
Additional requirements include:
Person Specification
- Excellent academic performance (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting
and/or economics)
- 1-3 years of work experience within investment banking, the VC or PE industry, consultancy
or related fields
- High degree of personal effectiveness
- High level of self-motivation, commitment, dedication and accountability
- Fast thinking, ability to work under time pressure, meet deadlines and coordinate and
delegate effectively
- Deep understanding of key accounting, finance, economics and valuation concepts
- Team player with always positive attitude
- Good sense of humour
Skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills (incl. financial modelling)
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, foremost PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Fluency in English and good knowledge of German; further languages are a plus
- Pronounced thinking skills (incl. complex and challenging situations)
- Ability and desire to work as part of a small team and take responsibility from early on
- Strong interpersonal skills
